College Admissions Roadmap: From Freshman to Senior Year | May 17, 2026
At the invitation of KoPA, I had the opportunity to present a two-part college admissions workshop for approximately 50 high school students, primarily in grades 9–12. The sessions covered Common App strategy and essay development for rising seniors while providing underclassmen with practical guidance on academic planning, extracurricular involvement, standardized testing, AI, and preparing thoughtfully for the evolving college admissions landscape.

Standing Out in Today’s College Admissions Landscape | May 14, 2026
I was invited by The Bellevue Club to present an educational seminar for families navigating the increasingly competitive college admissions process. Together, we explored what admissions officers are truly looking for beyond grades and test scores, including how students can develop authentic interests, build a cohesive extracurricular narrative, and approach the application process with greater confidence and purpose.
The seminar also covered the evolving admissions landscape, including standardized testing, AI, essay strategy, and practical guidance for helping students prepare thoughtfully from high school through college applications.

At the invitation of the Korean Parents Association of the Pacific Northwest (KoPA), I led a workshop for the organization's board members on the evolving college admissions landscape. Together, we examined emerging trends—including standardized testing, artificial intelligence, and changing admissions priorities—and discussed how community organizations can equip students and families with the knowledge and resources to prepare thoughtfully for college.

Unlocking College Admissions Success | October 2, 2025
At the invitation of the Seattle Tennis Club, I led an exclusive college admissions seminar for families interested in helping their students approach the admissions process with greater clarity and confidence. The seminar covered how to build purposeful interests from an early age, avoid common pitfalls in the admissions journey, and understand the hidden elements of a standout application.
We also discussed the changing standardized testing landscape, AI's role in college admissions, the Ivy League and "New Ivies," and what top colleges may value in the decade ahead.

First Tee Greater Seattle
From the Course to College: Building Your Story with Confidence | May 9, 2026
In partnership with First Tee Greater Seattle, I led an interactive workshop connecting the lessons learned through golf to personal growth and the college admissions journey. Together, we explored what colleges are truly looking for beyond grades and test scores, common misconceptions about admissions, and how qualities like resilience, integrity, leadership, and discipline can shape a student's story.
The workshop concluded with a golf-themed reflection activity, where students identified their strengths, interests, and next steps for building a meaningful high school experience.

The Ranier Club: Hospitality Hour
Raising Future Leaders | November 18, 2025
As part of The Rainier Club's Hospitality Hour series, I was invited to speak with families about helping students build confidence, curiosity, and purpose long before the college application process begins. The discussion focused on fostering meaningful academic and personal growth while helping families better understand what top universities truly value today.
We also explored evolving admissions trends, including test-optional policies, AI's growing influence, and how students can connect their interests to authentic purpose over time.

Job-Prep Bootcamp | July 10, 2025
On July 10th, I had the opportunity to present to the wonderful community of scholars and education advocates at Northwest Education Access. We explored how to approach networking authentically—focusing on storytelling, self-advocacy, and building meaningful, lasting connections.
